- Complicated skin and skin structure infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria (S. aureus, including MRSA, S. pyogenes, other Strep species [S. agalactiae, S. anginosus group], or vancomycin-sensitive E. faecalis).
- HABP and VABP: caused by susceptible isolates of S. aureus.
- It should be reserved for use when alternative agents are not suitable.

- S. aureus bacteremia/endocarditis: limited clinical data; primarily an alternative/salvage option when standard therapy is unsuitable.[15]
- Bone and joint infections due to susceptible Gram-positive organisms: limited observational experience; generally an alternative when standard therapy is unsuitable.
